MSC-cars data set is a fine-grained classification data set for vehicle models, which contains most of the vehicle models on the market at present. It is divided into "manufacturer class" and "model" by two-level classification method, supporting fine-grained or even more detailed algorithm research.

The data set is composed of four data subsets of different perspectives: front, back, right front and front side. The vehicle model data contained in each perspective subset is classified according to the "manufacturer model" label. It is worth noting that when we collect vehicle pictures, we collect them in the order of view angle manufacturer model, so the vehicle types contained in each view angle set are not exactly the same.

For example, the front rear view angle set contains MAZDA-2 Jinxiang, while the front right view angle set does not have such data. Therefore, if your research needs to integrate these data from different perspectives, additional processing of the data set is required. There are 150, 137, 139 and 139 kinds of "manufacturer" categories (such as BMW, Audi), 1311, 1144, 1213 and 1261 kinds of "model" categories (such as audi-a3, audi-a4), 46733, 42096, 39920 and 56291 kinds of vehicle data are respectively included in the front, rear, right front and front side view vehicle data, and 185040 pictures are included in MSC cars.
