The intelligent driving simulator is a research and testing platform built on data-driven and virtual simulation technologies. The project uses the open-source simulation platform Airsim as its core, creating highly realistic static virtual scenes through high-precision 3D modeling. It innovatively simulates dynamic traffic environments. The system integrates two key modules: sensor simulation and vehicle dynamics simulation. It accurately simulates the working characteristics of various onboard sensors (including cameras, radar, and LiDAR) under different environmental conditions and provides highly realistic vehicle dynamics responses. The simulator supports rapid validation and optimization of intelligent driving algorithms, reducing the cost and risks of real-vehicle testing. By constructing virtual test environments with complex traffic scenarios, the system comprehensively evaluates the environmental perception and decision-making capabilities of autonomous driving systems. The project innovatively combines physical simulators with digital simulation environments, enabling a "human-in-the-loop" hybrid simulation testing mode. This provides an efficient, safe, and controllable platform for intelligent driving technology development. The promotion of this system will significantly accelerate the iterative optimization of autonomous driving technology and provide critical technical support for the intelligent connected vehicle industry.
