The Multimodal Sensing & Comp-utation Research Group, part of the School of Computer Science at Beih-ang University, engages in interdisc-iplinary research combining comp-uter technology with mathematics, physics, medicine, biology, sociology, and communication.
  The group focuses on analyzing multimodal big data (text, images, numerical data, networks, etc.) using machine learning, image processing, and network analysis. Its applications span medical imaging, 3D modeling, virtual reality, knowledge reasoning, BeiDou navigation, and smart eng-ineering.
